Monsters – digital illustrations of horror classics by Ian Skelton

Digital illustrations of Universal Studios and 1980’s monsters by designer Ian Skelton. I remember watching the black & white horror classics Frankenstein, Dracula, The Wolf Man, Creature from the Black Lagoon and The Mummy as a young boy. When the late 70s and 80s hit we were introduced to a whole new breed of iconic horror movies and TV shows including Hellraiser, The Evil Dead, Critters and Tales from the Crypt. You can see more of Ian Skelton’s design and illustration work via Instagram.

IKEA Instructions for Horror Fans

Illustrator Ed Harrington has drawn up a series of IKEA style instruction sheets for famous movie monsters via his Instagram account nothinghappenedtoday. Freddy Krueger, Alien, Jason Voorhees and Pinhead rub shoulders with Beetlejuice, the aliens from They Live and The Walking Dead.

These handy guides detail the items you require and give basic construction guidelines for each miscreant. Not sure what the Allen key is for, but it looks like it comes with every set. You can never have too many Allen keys.

October 2017 UPDATE: Now with more added horror including Candyman, Hannibal Lecter and Carrie.
