Steampunk Ghostbusters proton-pack by James Odinson Mclardy

Big time Ghostbusters fan, and lover of all things steampunk, James Mclardy from Grantham, UK,  has combined his passions and constructed his very own Protonic Spectral Ensnarement Device fit for 1889.

After scratch building a pack about two years ago he decided it was time to really pull out all the stops… and cogs, pipes, metal parts, blinking lights, pressure gauges and to top it all off, an Extreme Ghostbusters trap ghost in a tasteful shade of copper. James has also constructed Ecto Goggles for his bowler hat and a Clockwork Ghost Trap to complete his spectral ensnarement ensemble.

“Audrey is her name and she’s mostly MDF, wood and plastic. Keeps the weight wearable. She has a full light kit in the powercell, cog grinder and cyclotronic generator as well as the hand unit.”

“After finding new metallic paints I decided to re visit the pack and update her.
I’d been collecting bits for a while as well to bring her more to what I had originally envisioned”

On the left the nearly completed re-fit version and the original build on the right. “Now she’s more metallic and less David Dickinson.” Quite, old bean. Let the busting commence, tally ho!
