Lambretta Scooter with a VW Van sidecar

Jason Dyer of Resto-Tec (based in West London) is the man on the scooter. The side-car was moulded in Belgium, he constructed the frame himself which was then attached to a 1961 Lambretta Scooter.

‘When my son and I are driving along the roads we turn everyone’s heads.’

‘We get absolutely mobbed by people when we take it to shows and journeys can take ages because we’re constantly stopped for photos.’

X-Wing Fighter and Tie Interceptor built from up-cycled bike frames.

Northern Backdrop Interior Design Ltd were commissioned to construct an X-Wing Fighter from Raleigh Grifter bike frames and parts of BMX’s which were then fused to create this installation. This is the first commission for Heavy Petal, a lighting design collaboration with Tyson Lighting. A Tie Interceptor was also commissioned and both sculptures featured as a showcase installation at WIRED 2014 event, London. Impressive stuff.
